"We all live in a Yellow Submarine!"

This mural was done as my senior project at JMW Arts High School. I began this project in my Junior year (2020), as I skipped my senior year to attend college. However, after drafting a thumbnail and laying out the guide on the wall, we were told we would go on a 1 week break because of a virus the school was warned of. I did not return to that building, and thus the mural, until 2021 when I graduated. I was granted access to the music room I painted this in and spent a week actually painting it. The inspiration for this piece was obviously the Beetle's 1968 movie "The Yellow Submarine" and functioned as a way to keep students' attention in an otherwise beige classroom.
